A stunning 60s count Ponduru Khadi saree in Indigo blue and pink. Comes with a classic temple and solid border. The pallu is tastefully adorned with thin pink stripes and a contrast pink blouse with blue temple border comes attached. It is additionally paired with a hand block printed kalamkari blouse to bring that element of zest!

Description

Ponduru, also called the Khadi village, is situated 30 km away from Srikakulum district of Andhra Pradesh. This is one of the only places where the single spindle charkha is still used for spinning. The Khadi produced in this village has its own Geographical Handloom Identification tag.

These pure Khadi cotton sarees are characterised by temple borders with or without dobby. Contrast borders are woven in both cotton and silk and lend these sarees an unparalleled elegance and appeal.
